This is My Story
I believe everything we experience, creates the humans we are today. We are constantly evolving and adapting. I know there have some pivotal life moments that has shaped the person I am today.
In high school, I struggled. I struggled with my grades, friendships, and my mental health. I carried a deep sense of failure with me for a while. I internalized others comments. I was told I would not get into the program I wanted too.
(SURPRISE) I did, I got in. I studied Psychology in CEGEP and from there, I quickly realized my love for authentically helping others.
I slowly started to shed the comments and attributes that were placed on me, but those that did not define me. I started to re-write my story, for me.
I began completing my personal training certification (after a few years of working with a personal trainer for myself.) I loved how training made me feel and I wanted to learn more.
I received my personal training certification while I was in University getting my BA in psychology.

I wanted to test myself. After a few years of training, I got into competing in the Body Building world. After that show my perspective of food, my body, and just going for a spontaneous ice cream date completely changed.
Psychology and personal training became one in my mind. It was that mind and body. My mind was not in a state of thriving, it was depleted. My body slowly followed. I was dealing with an eating disorder that I did not want to admit until I had no other choice but to face it.
I started to recover and be able to do more than just working out and thinking about my next meal. I started offering 1-1 personal training sessions once Covid began (right after I graduated) and slowly started to build my business.
I became a certified health/life coach In 2022.
I can confidently say, not only as a personal trainer, or someone who has a degree, I am a human first, I have gone through my own battles and still do.
My goal is to help you create a more positive relationship with your mind and body with the use of training to feel strong mentally and physically.
Of course this is just a very brief overview of my story and how I have got to where I am today, but I feel that these moments have developed my resiliency, power, and ability to bring more self awareness inward.

As a personal trainer, my mission is to help guide and uplift individuals to embrace their strength, both mentally and physically. I show up where you are on the given day and we listen and tune into your body. We start each session with an affirmation or a compliment to yourself. I want my clients to feel good about themselves, and leave feeling empowered.
You are more than just a number on a scale, I measure success in mental strength, courage, and newfound resilience of those I inspire.
